Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (Einwilligung).

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Short version: We do not collect personal data without your knowledge. The configurator does not transmit any inputs to our servers. Contact requests are securely handled via Formspree.

1. Data Controller

Christoph Boncio
Virchowstraße 7e, 66119 Saarbrücken, Germany
Email: beratung@freddie-smarthome.de

2. Data We Collect

Server logs: When you visit our website, our hosting provider IONOS automatically logs technical access data such as your IP address, browser type, date and time of access, and the page accessed. We use this data for technical troubleshooting and, in aggregated form via IONOS access statistics, to see how many visits each page receives. We do not set cookies or use third-party analytics services for this. So that we can see how many visitors complete the configurator, the configurator additionally requests an empty counting page on our own server at certain points (for example “questions answered” or “Comfort concept”). None of your entries are transmitted; this only creates one more entry in the same server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a stable offer that meets demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Raw data is deleted after a maximum of 7 days.

Configurator data: All inputs in the FREDDIE configurator (e.g. room size, desired features, budget) are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. No data is transmitted to our servers unless you submit the contact form.

Contact form: When you request your result and submit the form, we transmit your name, email address, and configured package to Formspree (see section 4). We use this data solely to process your enquiry.

Funding check: Answers in the funding check (funding page and configurators) are evaluated exclusively in your browser. They are not stored and never placed in URLs or statistics. Only if you voluntarily submit the enquiry form after seeing the result do we transmit your contact details together with the summary of the check and the open review points to FREDDIE via Formspree. We do not ask for tax, income or health data.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany). IONOS processes access data on servers in Germany under a data processing agreement. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

4. Third-Party Services

Fonts and icons: All typefaces (Cormorant Garamond, Hanken Grotesk) and icons (Tabler Icons) are served from our own server. No connection to any third party is made for this purpose and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.

No other external resources: Loading our pages does not fetch content from external servers — no content delivery network, no analytics or tracking services, no social networks, no map services, no captcha.

Formspree: Contact requests are processed by Formspree Inc. (251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA). Formspree is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. By submitting the form, you consent to processing by Formspree. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Amazon Partner Network: Product recommendations may contain affiliate links to Amazon (amazon.de). When you click such a link, your IP address is transmitted to Amazon. FREDDIE may receive a commission on purchases, with no increase in price for you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. For privacy enquiries: beratung@freddie-smarthome.de

6. Cookies

We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. The configurator uses localStorage and sessionStorage (not cookies) to store your settings, language preference and the concept preview; sessionStorage is cleared when you close the browser. This data never leaves your browser.

7. Currency

This privacy policy is effective from July 2026. We reserve the right to update it if our services or the legal situation changes.

1. Administrator danych

Christoph Boncio
Virchowstraße 7e, 66119 Saarbrücken, Niemcy
E-mail: beratung@freddie-smarthome.de

2. Jakie dane zbieramy

Logi serwera: Podczas odwiedzania naszej strony dostawca hostingu IONOS automatycznie rejestruje techniczne dane dostępu, takie jak adres IP, typ przeglądarki, data i godzina dostępu oraz odwiedzana strona. Wykorzystujemy je do usuwania usterek technicznych oraz – w formie zbiorczej, poprzez statystyki dostępu IONOS – aby wiedzieć, ile odwiedzin mają poszczególne strony. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO).

Formularz kontaktowy: Gdy zażądasz wyniku i wyślesz formularz, przesyłamy Twoje imię i nazwisko, adres e-mail oraz skonfigurowany pakiet do Formspree (patrz pkt 4). Dane te wykorzystujemy wyłącznie do obsługi Twojego zapytania.

3. Hosting

Strona jest hostowana przez IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Niemcy). IONOS przetwarza dane dostępowe na serwerach w Niemczech na podstawie umowy o przetwarzaniu danych. Podstawa prawna: art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO (uzasadniony interes w bezpiecznym działaniu).

Brak innych zasobów zewnętrznych: Wczytanie naszych stron nie pobiera treści z obcych serwerów — brak sieci CDN, brak usług analitycznych i śledzących, brak sieci społecznościowych, brak map, brak captcha.

Formspree: Zapytania kontaktowe są przetwarzane przez Formspree Inc. (251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA). Formspree posiada certyfikat EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Podstawa prawna: art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO (zgoda).

Amazon Partner Network: Rekomendacje produktów mogą zawierać linki partnerskie do Amazon (amazon.de). Podstawa prawna: art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO.

5. Twoje prawa

Masz prawo do dostępu, sprostowania, usunięcia, ograniczenia przetwarzania, przenoszenia danych oraz sprzeciwu. Przysługuje Ci również prawo do wniesienia skargi do organu ochrony danych. W sprawach dotyczących prywatności: beratung@freddie-smarthome.de

6. Pliki cookie

Nie stosujemy plików cookie służących do śledzenia ani marketingu. Konfigurator używa localStorage i sessionStorage (nie cookies) do zapisywania Twoich ustawień, wybranego języka i podglądu koncepcji; sessionStorage jest usuwany po zamknięciu przeglądarki. Dane te nigdy nie opuszczają Twojej przeglądarki.

7. Aktualność

Niniejsza polityka prywatności obowiązuje od lipca 2026. Zastrzegamy sobie prawo do jej aktualizacji w przypadku zmiany naszej oferty lub przepisów prawa.
